It's been a long time. I never left, I was just dealing with a lot especially having my heart broken to a million pieces, and now having to find it and put it back together. I gave my trust to a person who I eventually found out couldn't stand me but yet they would continuously smile in my face on a daily, and just hurt me and not even care. Used me in so many ways, and yet when they were at their lowest of lows, I was there for them even when I was going through my lowest of lows. Made the mistake of sacrificing for the relationship more so for that person. In the end I got hurt tremendously. It still hurts and the scar is so deep and I don't think this person cares to know how deep they've hurt me. The lies, the disrespect, the betrayals, yet you had someone else all this time. I realized that I was just a convenient rebound to this person ALL this time, and you know it's cool. It felt like a slap in the face and like the person was saying fuck me and everything I stand for. I learned my lesson though because I'm healing from this. I'm still angry but and I guess that's normal but I'm healing from this. Took so much from me and all I got was hurt, and pain. Wish you the best.

Really everyday is Thanksgiving Day because we all have so much to be thankful for. On this day of this particular year though I have something to be extremely thankful for and that's my fiancée and my two boys, the three men in my life.They've always had my back and was always there to make me laugh whenever I was sad. Always keeping a smile on my face. I'm very thankful for that because of all thats been happening in my life this year. I'm thankful for my fiancée who is so amazing to me and means everything to me. Always making sure I stay on track and never allowing me to slip ( or else he would chew me out lol ). There's so much I can say about him I can actually write a book. Ladies we all shave...and you know when you use those shaving cream they leave your skin feeling dry and they claim that they moisturize while shaving. I personally have found that to be false and some of those shaving cream smell. So I tried out something. I tried the Olay In Shower Body Lotion and it works great. seriously though it's finally out and it didn't hurt except when it popped out. Felt like when the needle went in. I'm not gonna lie, I was so damn nervous my palms were sweaty. I was asking him all sorts of questions like is he gonna numb me so I won't feel the pain and is it gonna hurt. I was so tense sitting there but now that I realized, that doctor used some serious reverse psycology on me lol but shit it worked like hell cause it was quick. A lot of blood gushed out cause it was really deep. I'm good and thankful though and next time I'll listen to my hubby when he says something cause he was right the whole time even though even though I was acting like a little kid about it. SMGDH....So it's been a week and a half and I still have this damn needle stuck deep in my foot. I've been having serious pain with this foot and if I walk on it too long the pain shoots right up to my thighs. I went to the foot doctor and they couldn't take me because I had to pay $100 so I had to reschedule. I got the money and the appointment and now I can't reach the damn foot doctor cause no one has time to take me and I'm not paying a $50 late fee. I have a son to look after and I can't keep leaving him with my grams and don't even ask where my mother is my dad works hard long hours and is often far away. He's more dependable than my mother which is sad and he's not even my real dad. It's a lot going and right now i've reached my breaking breaking breaking point. So the needle is still in my foot and I'm hopping around on the foot at the same time. #EPIC FAIL!!!!

Mr. Anthony died yesterday in London, England at the age of 59. I don't need to place his biography on here cause that's what Google is for or you can check any Jamaican music website. BUT, I will say this...He was and still will be one of the greatest to ever do it in music in general. Condolences to the family and to all my Jamaicans let's celebrate the musical life of Mr. Isaacs by playing his music all day and night and reminiscing on the good times and good vibes he gave us through his music.

My Accident/Realization of Things

So ladies and gentlemen I got a piece of needle stuck in my right foot and according to the nurse it's so deep in my foot that i have to see a foot doctor (I know the medical term but can't spell it). I got a booster shot ( and the drama queen in me came out when I saw the needle lmao, but it didn't hurt) and antibiotics for it. Here's the bad part about it: my fiance told me to go to the ER so they can take it out but me being the stubborn one tried to do it myself hence pushing it deeper into my foot causing more pain. So yeah I got the I told you so speech which i deserve and I have to do surgery.

MY REALIZATION:
In the midst of all this happen and other things going on, one would think that my mom would be there to see about her first born and only child is okay but nope. Not even a call asking if I'm okay or a call to see what my results were...smgdfh. As I said before in my last post my mom and I have never been close and we will never be close. This is just even more disappointment and even more confirmation about things. My dad was there with me. I had to come home make sure my son was fed and went to sleep and ask my grams to watch him for me even though she wasn't feeling well at all then go to hospital to see about my foot and where was this lady whose suppose to be my mother at? No where...off enjoying herself at a concert while I had to hop around all day on my foot no call up to this very minute of me writing this post. You know what though my fiance was with me and I thank him and love him for that, he's always been there by my side and had my back since day one. He told me don't worry about it cause he's been through it and I have witnessed it and just him saying that to me was very encouraging. I'm not gonna trip off it though but I won't forget.

MY FINAL THOUGHT(S):
Make sure to keep all pointy things and sharp things off your floor and away from your kids. Keep floors and carpets clean at all times so shit like this won't happen to you. And oh yeah I have to clean her whole house now which will be done by myself and has been since we moved here but hey I just keep shit it and do it cause it's all about the safety of my son at the end of it all......HEY MY FOOT LOOKS WEIRD LMAO!!!

What The Fuck Should I Feel!!!

I have come to the acceptation that YES! I look just like my mother. Where I may look just like her and even sound like her on the phone (I still beg to differ), that whole like mother like daughter aspect may be true but for me HELL NO!!! I AM NOTHING LIKE MY MOTHER! Lately I've been thinking back on my childhood a lot...thinking back on the fun I had but all I can think about is how my childhood was hell. Growing up it was a lot of smoke and mirrors, so I thought everything was normal. As I think back deeper though I started to realize that nothing was normal. I was sitting talking to my Grams don't remember what we were talking about but all of a sudden I started talking about when I was growing up in Jamaica and when I came to the U.S. and all I can remember is the pain and hell that I went through growing up in Jamaica.

How It All Started:

For a while now my mom has been nagging me about how I neglect my son and that really hurt me because I don't feel like I have ever neglected my son. I do admit that I don't give him the attention that he needs when he ask for it but to say that I neglect my son is nonsense. I thought back to when I use to live in Salt Marsh, Jamaica and I remember always having dinner at my best friends house every night because my mom was hardly around and I remember spending many nights at my best friends house because her mom made me sleep there house because my mom wasn't home. I remember fights between my mom and her brother all this time my grandmother was living in the United States working as a teacher and working hard to make sure her kids had, and I remember she would send down barrels of food, clothing, toys, and whatever else she would send. I only remember ever going to three schools and I wasn't there for that long. I remember I would get beatings and have huge marks on my legs and the neighborhood new when I got a beating because I cried really loud. I even remember when the lights went out and grandpa was there he was visiting I guess and I was hungry and so he made me bully beef sandwich (the best sandwich ever), it was just the two of us in the house and I remember seeing yellow eyes coming towards me in the bathroom as I was going to my room and I ran back to the kitchen so fast that I hit my side into the edge of the table and he asked me what was wrong and of course I said nothing.

I remember when my mom and I went to Montego Bay up in Glendevon to see her boyfriend at the time who was a Dj at this night club across the street from Jack Tar Village (building still there but name may have changed). The evening when she dropped me off I asked her if she was coming back to get me because I didn't want to stay there and she said I would be staying just for the night. That one night turned into many and never seeing her for months. The time that I finally saw her there it was Reggae Sunsplash which is a big thing in Jamaica. I remember Denise taking her daughter with her to it and I asked my mom if I could come with her but she said no and I asked her how comes Petagay can go but I can't and she never answered me. I did cry that night and I never saw her again for a while. I remember I got beatings from her boyfriend's mom almost everyday...There are some things I don't wanna get into but i will say this I went through hell as a kid. My grandma told me how she heard that my mom wasn't treating me right and there were some things she knew that I knew but I never thought of it that way. I remember living in New York and I would always go downstairs in the basement and my grandparents had a barrel down there and there were things in it and I would always play with the barrel come to find out my mom and her drug dealing boyfriend at the time who's now my step-dad had a gun in it, a 9mm and my grandfather found out and was he pissed. My grandpa was a cop but he's retired now and also a Veteran. It seem that my life was always in danger and yes I did see the gun but I never told anyone. Yea, my mom did neglect me and treated me badly and still does and yet she never in her life apologized to me. My relationship with my mom was never the daughter-mother relationship that a normal daughter has and it never will be that way because I will forever remember all the hurt and pain she put me through and how she neglected and treated me.

Is It Easy To Forget?

What she did to me and put me through, NO and it's like the more things that i find out about my childhood the more I look at her with disgust. There will never be a mother-daughter relationship between her and I. We weren't close in the beginning and it will never be that way.

I'm very happy where I'm at right now I have a man who not only loves me but loves my son and I love his as well. I feel we'll be good so I was hurt but now I'm happy and so is he. Honestly...there is a lot of truth being mentioned in this video, and it also makes you think. I saw the video when he was in court and I asked the same questions to myself. This industry will be exposed for what it is whether it likes it or not. I not gonna say it's sad although it is but this is what happens when an artist begins to see the industry for what it is and tries to show other people what it's really about but in doing so you have to and will face a lot of things but you gotta be strong to fight and deal with them. I'm not in the industry yet and still want to be cause like DMX said he's an artist of the industry not an industry artist, and I'm an artist in my own right, shit we all are. Truthfully speaking, DMX has a lot more to deal with as far as him exposing the industry and he may have to pay in some way but that's how it is, when you do something you gotta pay some kind of price sad it has to be that way but that's how it is. Not wishing anything to happen to DMX because he is a great artist and keeps it more than 100% but I'm just stating facts and calling it like I see it. Venting The Thoughts In My Head

Okay...so here's what's going on in my life at this apparent moment and time. I did the 25th birthday celebration in my home town of NY with my cousin and boyfriend (feels weird saying boyfriend), and I had a blast as well as other people. So right now or should I say for the longest I've been trying to move back to the Bronx. That's my home. Currently I'm living in Maryland and the day I moved here I hated everything about it...well it does have it's nice things about it, but I'm a NY girl and always will be. New York is in my blood as well as I still have family up there. Also I wanna do music production and also be a master engineer but I more wanna learn the business part of the industry. The school that I need to go to to learn that is in New York, but I had also found Full Sail which is in Orlando. The school in NY is Institute of Audio Research (I.A.R.). Of course you know my heart and mind is saying NY. I don't mind going to Orlando but here is the thing; if I go to school in Orlando when I go to do internships I'm going to have to travel and move all the way back up north to NY to do internships. I don't wanna be 17-18 hours away from home when I can be only 2-4 hours away if I go to school in NY. Also I don't wanna be that far away from my son 18 hours away that's much and if I feel like coming home for a day or two I can just drive the 2-4 hours and it won't be a problem where as if I go to Orlando the cost alone for a plane ticket or even to rent a car and be on the road for that long is much, and personally don't like driving through Georgia.

Here's the other thing on the brain. My boyfriend lives in NY in the same area I use to live, and right now even though it's a long distance relationship, it's working so far, and we have plans. Here's my other issue, I'm an only child and mom dukes is not trying to let me be free so that's a big fight that I'm dealing with right now plus she doesn't like my bf because of a dream she had. But I've already had things made up in my mind and I'm at a point where if she can't support me in what I do even though some of those choices won't be so great but I need to make those choices on my own in order to be my own and learn and grow, then why should I support her an her choices and some of those choices she made I didn't agree to but I couldn't say anything. I'm still in the process of working out this big move. If I were to move right this moment I would have a place for my son and I to stay, but I'm not gonna just up and move like that. What I'm doing is looking for other places and jobs, so that way when it's time for the move I can just up and go. I make it sound so easy but it's not. My mom thinks I can't make choices on my own but she would be surprise. I've made and done some pretty bad things and I have learned from them on like her, but that's another story itself. If I say how I feel to her she's gonna get an attitude and there's gonna be a big argument and then you're gonna hear how I'm ungrateful and this that and the third, and frankly I'm tired of that crap. I've made sacrifices for you and your relationship and I've sacrificed a lot for myself just to make her happy and now I'm at a point where I wanna do for me and my son. I wanna have my own family to take care of.

So those are the many thoughts going through my head each and everyday and I gotta say it's frustrating and I'm carrying a lot of tension too. I need to be free. I'm not saying we can't have the mother daughter relationship, but there comes a point in a persons life were you have to let them go and find themselves in this crazy world. So what do you think?

AVG Anti-virus/Adware Software-The Best Ever

In one of my last post, I posted about my computer troubles as far as anti-virus' that I've tried. I think I've put an end to my search. I recently took my laptop to one of my friends who does the whole nine yards on computers you name it he does it. Also I have a confession to make as well. I had Lime wire on here...YES! I know, and trust I got the blues about it from my friend. I also found out that Lime wire gave me over 900 spy-ware and all sorts of other crap on my computer as well as I had Panda as my anti-virus and that was also putting spy-ware and other viruses on my computer causing it to act all sorts of funny. WELL! since installing AVG Anti-Virus System on my laptop, it has cleaned up all those spy-ware and viruses and my laptop is working like new, it even gave me back a lot of space on my hard drive which is even more exciting. This software not only cleans your computer but it also updates automatically. Overall my quest for a good anti-virus search is over, I don't know if it can work on a Mac, but I will find out and let you all know.

So ladies and gentlemen, who is Johnny Polygon? I didn't know who he was until I downloaded the mixtape "Rebel Without Applause" which is presented by KarmaLoop and DJ Green Lantern (another really dope DJ). So I download the mixtape of course and I start to listen, and I actually like it. The beats are different, and Mr. Polygon can do his thing and he's funny at the same time. So I wanted to know who this person was and so with the power of Google at my fingertips I Googled my little fingers away and sure enough he has a Myspace page. According to his bio on his page, he's a b-boy/break-dancer as well as a rapper (I don't know what he calls himself but it's according to his Myspace bio, but he's dope). He's from Oklahoma as well, Tulsa to be exact, and was discovered by DJ Green Lantern on MusicNation.com. All I know is, in my opinion he's dope, artistic, and funny. Sooo my educated and uneducated people of the world (can't say America because there are both all over), what is the blimey difference? Based of the definitions there is a difference between the four but in my opinion I don't see the difference. To me...they are one and connect, but the main thing they have in common is that they're popular (especially with politicians, lmao), and all over the place. Which leads me to another question, in this day and age why is it okay to be a pin up, but we have problems with prostitutes and video hoe's. Back then it didn't mean anything to be a pin up girl or a model, but in this modern world, in this day and age a pin up girl a model, a prostitute, a video hoe, and a model are all connected. All want to be popular, seen, all want to be with the big timers, and the big one, THEY GET PAID, no matter how or what they do to get where they are. So in my opinion there is no difference, and while some things they do are wrong I don't see what the big issue is. My question goes deeper than what I've posted but it will take too long and will take up a whole blog page (might as well write an article, lol). But as I stated in my disclaimer (read it). The Countdown Begins!!! Yayyy!!!!

So the countdown begins. What countdown? The countdown to my son's 3rd birthday and the countdown to my 25th birthday. I supper excited about both because my son is gonna be three, that's three years on this earth alive, healthy, beautiful, and growing up strong all thanks to God. Twenty-five years on this earth and I'm happy and finally stepping out and doing me and establishing my own family. It's a lot going on for me right now, so much that I honestly can't keep up but I'm trying to. Twenty-five years of living on this earth and dealing with the ups and downs of life and over coming some of my obstacles. Twenty-five years of maturity, knowledge, growth, understanding, and more of these to be established in me. I may not feel like I've done a lot but I can say that I've accomplished being in school, having a kid, having two people who I care about in my life, and dying to start a family with. I could go on, but I'm happy and thank God for the blessings and opportunities. So Happy Birthday to my mini me (my son) and to myself.

Valentine's day...a day that only comes ONCE a year. A time when people fall in love, get cheated on, and where businesses make a killing on this day. Me personally I don't see what the fuss is about. For me everyday is Valentine's day, call me sour because I don't have a valentine but I actually do but I'm trying to understand the point behind this day and what's makes us ladies take this day so seriously. Me personally I don't see the point and it's a waste of time. Several question will be answered in this post: 1. What is Valentine's Day, 2. what happens on this day, 3. how it came about, and 4. who the hell is this Cupid?

What Is Valentine's Day/ What happens on this day?
This happens every February 14. On this day," love is in the air" as they call it. On this day you spend time with the person you love, give each other gifts such as roses and chocolate, or a teddy bear. This gift is usually given to the females. Not only do you give the cliche chocolate, the dozen roses, and teddy bear but also there's a lot of love making going on. Unfortunately the down-side to this day is that cheaters cheat, and relationships get exposed. This day is also a killing for businesses. Every year billions of dollars are being spent on this one day just to make the person feel special. To put it in a nut shell, this is the day women and men proclaim their love for each other.

Romancing with goat blood

Valentine's Day can also be connected to the pagan Lupercalia festival celebrated in ancient Rome on Feb. 15. Young women would place their names in a hollow and single men would pick a name of the woman he would romance for a year. Who The Hell Is Cupid?

The infamous cupid...the guy who goes around shooting people and making them fall in love with each other. We've seen the cartoons how that works. But who the hell is cupid? Cupid, one of the gods in Roman mythology, is the force that controls erotic love. Cupid is the Roman counterpart to the Greek god Eros. His name comes from the Latin word cupido which translates to “passion, desire, yearning, wanting, or longing.” However, in Latin, Cupid is known as Amor. The Latin word amor means “love, infatuation, or passion.” (via Wise Geek)

In the Roman version, Cupid was the son of Venus (goddess of love) and Mercury (messenger god). In the Greek version he was named Eros and seen as one of the primordial gods (though other myths exist as well). Cupid was often depicted with wings, a bow, and a quiver of hearts. The following story is almost identical in both cultures; the most familiar version is found in Lucius Apuleius's Metamorphoses. Following that, Cupid visited Psyche every night while she slept. Speaking to her so that she could not see him, he told her never to try to see him. When he left, she looked all over the known world for him until at last the leader of the gods, Jupiter, gave Psyche the gift of immortality so that she could be with him. Together they had a daughter, Voluptas, or Hedone, (meaning pleasure) and Psyche became a goddess. Her name "Psyche" means "soul."

So there you have it. Valentine's Day is nothing but foolishness in my opinion. Why should I wait until the 14th of every year to claim proclaim my love for the man I'm with. Everyday is Valentine's Day, everyday I make sure that my man feels not only loved but also respected. So I'll do little or big things to make my man know that he's loved, and respected. Personally I'm not the type to get excited over this day, but I will get excited when they're selling jewelry and it's on sale or whatever sale they're having on that day. But hey I'm not knocking it but really think about this day and do some research on it, it's all a bunch of ca-ca to me.

One of the worlds most well known fashion designer Alexander McQueen was found dead today in his London home. It is said that the 40yr old designer committed suicide days after the death of his mother. While he's had to deal with some tragedies in his life, he will still be known as one of THE BEST fashion designers ever. All this in the midst of fashion week. I will most remember him for the shoes above. R.I.P. to Sir Alexander McQueen, and thank you for sharing your design and art and passion with the world.

So at the Grammy's last night she came out in this white dress that was really cute. Then she took it off and she was wearing this skin tone body suit and the glitter covered up her breast and private part, still the outfit was fire. Then she did the trapeze thing...She killed it. I must say that the ladies looked fabulous at the Grammy's but of course you can't help and not talk about Lady Gaga. Honestly I don't care what you say about her, she is the business. Although some of her outfits freak me out, they look really good and she's setting a trend in case you're not paying attention especially in her performances. Rhianna looking really elegant of course. Gotta say the whole look on Rhianna is hot, very clean looking and snow white. Brittney Spears. Although some thought that she could have worn something better, I think she looks great non the less. Of course Beyonce, Her dress is nice on her. She looks polished as well.

I didn't get to see the whole show but I caught the part where Beyonce was performing. Didn't see the whole performance but her outfit during the performance was hot. Overall....I don't watch the Grammies because to me they are wack, and some of the performance were wack too. What really blew me was that Kanye West wasn't there to perform with Drake, Lil Wayne and Eminem, and what the hell was the point of bleeping all of Lil Wayn'e song while he was performing and then there were some parts of the Forever song that didn't need bleeping out at all. You know what kind of song it was so if you new that why the hell would you have them perform anyway jackasses, and that's one of the many reasons I don't watch that show. Overall again, IT WAS WACK, and that Jamie Fox and T-Pain performace, wack but Slash tore that guitar the hell up. Slash rocks.

Where To Put Those Wet Shoes?

There's nothing you can do about the weather, whether it snows or rain, or if you're working in the yard or where ever, especially when the kids come from outside. So what's the solution for not having wet footprints all over the house? For this DIY project all you need is a tray that's deep enough to hold a wire cooling rack and some pebbles. Here's how: Take the tray (of any desired length, and make sure it's deep) and place the wired cooling tray at the bottom ( depending on how wide and long your tray is, you need to use more than one wire cooling rack). Then place the pebbles on top of the wire cooling rack, and that's it. Adding the stones, pebbles or whatever you choose to add will make the water drain to the bottom of the tray, but of course you may have to empty the tray so the water doesn't stay in there over time and smell, but it's a really cool idea for any home, office, mud room, entry way or even apartment.
